Pokémon Center 'FireRed LeafGreen' Box set in 2026

Nintendo Switch 2 software of Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version, the 2004 remakes of the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green video games originally released in 1996, are coming to the Nintendo Switch system on February 27th, 2026.

Originally launched on the Game Boy Advance system in 2004, Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version will be coming to the Nintendo Switch system as download-exclusive titles to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon. These titles will be available to play after the conclusion of the Pokémon Presents presentation and can be played on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 systems. Home connectivity is confirmed!

NEW Pokémon Center info: On Saturday, February 28th, the "30th anniversary" merchandise special edition that includes the Nintendo Switch download-only software "Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green", a package that reproduces the design at the time of release, and a glass Poké Ball object are now available!
